This year’s theme is "Giving commerce a face": as the platform of Swiss Trade (Ger: Handel Schweiz – the umbrella organisation representing Swiss trade, commerce and retail), the event facilitates dialogue and networking within the industry. Apostroph Group is both a member of the organisation and a sponsor of the event. The keynote speaker is Hans-Werner Sinn. As Professor Emeritus of Economics and Public Finance at the University of Munich and Germany’s most high-profile economist, he serves on the German economy ministry’s advisory council and lends his voice to economic and sociopolitical debates. A panel chaired by Marc Lehmann, presenter of national radio broadcaster SRF 1’s Tagesgespräch programme, and featuring Elisabeth Schneider-Schneiter, National Councillor of the Christian Democratic People’s Party of Switzerland (CVP), Andreas Aebi, National Councillor of the Swiss People’s Party (SVP) and Christa Markwalder, National Councillor of the Free Democratic Party of Switzerland (FDP), will be discussing current foreign policy. Around 300 attendees are expected.
