Everything’s perfect with TransPerfect

Apostroph Switzerland joined the TransPerfect family of companies in February 2025. We’re planning to complete the integration process and migrate all clients to GlobalLink (TransPerfect’s project management platform) by the end of 2026. But what does that mean for you?

Working together

You’ll still be working with the same project managers as before. But now that they’re working in TransPerfect’s system, you will need to be onboarded so you can start using the same system.

Free CAT tool

The good news? Switching to this new system unlocks a number of benefits for you. You can start using TransPerfect’s browser-based CAT tool for translation, post-editing and proofreading work – for free. All projects will be processed through this CAT tool, which is based on Wordfast. You don’t need to worry about installing any software or having access to a Trados licence because you can simply work directly in your browser. This will simplify file handling for everyone involved.

From project allocation to invoice payment

Let’s look at how projects are managed at TransPerfect next: 

•    Going forward, you will claim TransPerfect projects via ‘GlobalLink for Externals’, which will replace myFREELANCE.
•    You will receive a project-based offer for each project there. These offers will be based on standardised average rates for each language combination (the average is determined by data from Apostroph Switzerland).
•    It’s up to you if you want to accept or reject a project.
•    You will use the ‘Hub Invoicing’ feature in the TransPerfect Vendor Hub to track payments and submit invoices. Payments will be issued by TransPerfect according to the agreed payment terms.

Double work opportunities

For the moment, you will continue to receive requests from Apostroph via myFREELANCE as well as GlobalLink, the new system. We can make your profile visible to the whole group of companies to increase your chance of being offered more work. If you’re keen to receive requests from across the TransPerfect Group – that’s two dozen or so companies – get in touch with us to let us know.

We know that it always takes a while to get used to a new platform. We’re offering online training sessions and guides to make the transition as seamless as possible for you.
